Jean Boggio

Jean Boggio

Portrait

Jean Boggio is a Franco-Italian artist born in Algeria. Very early on, he was swayed by the colors and smells of the Mediterranean and the Orient which would nourish his imagination.

After training as a jeweller-goldsmith, he developed his universe through jewelry similar to sculptures. He then transcribes his beautiful stories on decorative arts objects, from crystal to goldsmithery, from furniture to textiles. The craftsman-artist then attracts the compliments of the greatest houses such as Daum and Chopard who put his talents to good use. Will follow the creations in glass, crystal and ceramics for prestigious brands such as Haviland and Baccarat.

Jean Boggio is above all an outstanding storyteller and narrator who immerses us, through his creations, in the ancient legends that swayed his childhood.

The Collection

This collection called “Temptations” refers to Greek and Persian mythologies where the pomegranate symbolizes beauty and eternal life. It is also a fruit synonymous with prosperity and wealth, which is also called the "apple of paradise".
Declined on a collection of glasses and plates with baroque shapes, the pomegranate appears here in a very stylized way to create unique and exclusive sculpture-objects.

Waww x Jean Boggio

We love his lyrical universe and his extraordinary fantasy. With Jean Boggio, each object tells a beautiful story and is a work of art in itself.
